The soundworld of construction work, organized video-rhythmically. Video-music made from documentary images and concrete sounds.

„The video-machinery is the orchestra. On the tapes: the various Instruments. The video-composer elaborates his score on the keyboard of the computer, which then calculates the corresponding edit lists. They are transmitted to the editing control unit where the „instruments“ (hammering and other sounds of construction work) are located on the tapes and assembled according to the score. After some hours of automatical editing, the composer/editor listens and looks at the product and – after an important phase of contemplation – types the next score.“ Georg Maas
